Our Purpose

There are a lot of great ways to learn about boardgames: blogs, podcasts, YouTube videos, and traditional Web pages are all helpful. But they don’t always scratch the itch the writers at Margin of Victory have. We have a strong desire to analyze how games disclose their themes through mechanics, art, and gameplay. We also like session reports from multiple player perspectives, strategy tips, and the like. We want to go beyond reviews and reach the heart of boardgames.
